About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High-Voltage Transmission Line Management Professional to join our team at HDR. As a key member of our transmission line project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing high-voltage transmission projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead high-voltage transmission projects, including scope development, project team assignment, execution, closeout, quality control, schedule, and budget management.
  • Direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise project engineers, designers, CAD technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure adherence to HDR's Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements and deliver world-class quality on all projects.
  • Oversee non-engineering components of projects, including public involvement, environmental permitting, right-of-way acquisition, construction management, and other services as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the transmission industry, with at least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Texas is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong technical expertise in transmission line design using PLS-CADD, steel, and wood transmission structure analysis/design, foundation design, material procurement, specifications, and construction support.
  • Experience using project management tools such as MS Project or SmartSheet.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
