Position Summary:

Anthony's Beach Cafe is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, maintain, and operate the bar, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
  • Take drink orders from guests and prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beer in accordance with standardized recipes.
  • Take food orders from guests seated at the bar and ring orders in the POS system.
  • Collect payments and make change, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Wash glassware and prepare drink garnishes.
  • Follow strict guidelines to prevent over-service or serving minors.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume bar environment, with knowledge of standard drink recipes.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to remain on feet for periods of up to four hours and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
