At ABA Centers of New Jersey, we are dedicated to providing high-quality autism therapy to individuals and families. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in our team, supporting individuals with autism in various settings, including the home, community, and our centers.

As a behavior therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly trained and certified team, utilizing evidence-based treatments and strategies to help individuals with autism achieve their goals. You will also have the chance to collaborate with families, Executive Directors, and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

We offer a comprehensive training program, which includes our 40-hour RBT training course, to prepare you for the RBT exam and ensure your success in this role. Additionally, we provide ongoing career support and advancement opportunities, including the chance to advance to positions like Lead RBT, RBT Supervisor, BCBA, and other corporate or clinic positions.

Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with autism in various settings, including the home, community, and our centers.
  • Teach daily living skills and social skills using evidence-based treatments and strategies.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions.
  • Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs.
Requirements:
  • High-school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Consistent, reliable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients.
  • Maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
