Paralegal Specialist

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled General Paralegal to support our litigation and investigation support practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional, accurate, and timely support to attorneys in all phases of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and analyze information pertaining to federal and state laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles.
- Draft written correspondence to internal and external components, research policies, and communicate with external state and federal agencies.
- Synthesize transcripts of hearings and oral arguments for attorney use; review case-related materials; and identify potentially conflicting statements or areas requiring further documentation.
- Document records produced in discovery, correspondence sent, and case management functions performed.
- Design, generate, and transmit reports regarding case assignments and productivity using case management software.
- An active and maintained Top Secret federal security clearance.
- Two or more years of general litigation and legal analysis experience.
- Successful completion of a Paralegal degree or certification.
- Knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
- Experience conducting legal analysis, drafting motions and briefs, and assisting at trial.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and hands-on familiarity with computer platforms that assist with document review and case management.
