Job Summary:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled General Paralegal to provide litigation and analyst support to the Criminal Justice Information Law Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and compiling information pertaining to federal and state statutes, as well as drafting written correspondence and communicating with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze complex legal issues and provide recommendations to attorneys.
  • Compile and maintain accurate and detailed records of case-related materials, including transcripts, documents, and correspondence.
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and court procedures.
  • Provide exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with attorneys, clients, and external agencies.

Requirements:

  • Active and maintained Top Secret federal security clearance.
  • Two or more years of general litigation and legal analysis experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Paralegal degree or certificate.
  • Knowledge of Federal Law Enforcement policies and procedures.
  • Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
