We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician II to join our team at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in setting up and turning over operating rooms for cases, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and high-quality care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Surgical Technologist program graduate, military training, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with prior experience before 09/01/2009 (if not a graduate of a Surgical Technology Program).
  • Compliance with Texas House Bill #643.
