Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure organization, cleanliness, proper maintenance, and adequate supplies.
  • Oversee staff compliance with service standards and operating procedures, including uniform and grooming standards.
  • Supervise guest service, remaining attentive to guests' needs.
  • Assist the Team Leader in establishing and monitoring the completion of side work duties.
  • Maintain the cash bank according to standard operating procedures, ensuring it is balanced and secure.
  • Review daily communication sheets from the previous shift and prepare one for the upcoming shift, checking for personnel call-offs and coverage.
  • Inspect the restaurant for cleanliness and proper setup, including table cleanliness and stands.
  • Communicate daily with the restaurant manager regarding special events and guest counts.
  • Support the Team Leader in conducting menu training sessions and taste panels.
  • Assist the Team Leader with monthly inventory counts and record-keeping.
  • Engage with team members during service, scheduling, safety discussions, and important announcements.
  • Report any unsafe working conditions.
  • Ensure proper handling of guest checks and cash transactions.
  • Step in for team members as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Aptitude for making decisions based on limited information.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.
