School Physical Therapist

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to students, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Student Evaluations and Therapy Services: Perform comprehensive evaluations of students to identify physical therapy needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and provide therapy services to students in accordance with plan of care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, including clinical and progress summaries, and submit reports as required.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Education and Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice and graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Experience: One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in the English language.
