Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the day-to-day activities of the histology department. This includes overseeing specimen receipt and handling, workflow, data reporting, quality control/quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop laboratory procedures, techniques, and protocols to ensure up-to-date procedure manuals.
- Provide consultation to resolve technical problems in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures.
- Investigate technical problems and take corrective action to ensure quality control/assurance reports meet established indicators.
- Define, coordinate, and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- ASCP certification.
- TN license (or ability to obtain it).
- Prior histology experience and knowledge, including leadership.
