About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Property & Buildings - Mechanical Team, you will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance on various projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on mechanical engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement mechanical engineering designs and solutions for building and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans and schedules.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in design and project management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
