Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our Radiation Oncology team at Valley View. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating radiation dose distributions and dose calculations in collaboration with our Medical Physicist and Radiation Oncologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate radiation dose distributions and dose calculations based on education and expertise
  • Collaborate with Medical Physicist and Radiation Oncologist to develop treatment plans
  • Operate and perform quality assurance on treatment planning computer
  • Perform routine duties independent of supervision, consulting with Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist as required
  • Interpret and execute treatment plans as defined in relevant treatment protocols
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Dosimetry program or Certified as a Medical Dosimetrist
  • Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
  • Compliance with existing national and state laws and institutional policies related to qualifications required to practice medical dosimetry in Colorado
  • 5+ years' experience in related field
