Job Overview

At Medical City Arlington, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and exceptional service. As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in our team by delivering respiratory care therapies and monitoring patients for therapeutic response.

Responsibilities
  • You will perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • You will administer oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy as needed.
  • You will assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
  • You will notify providers and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to therapy.
  • You will assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent patient situations.
Requirements
  • You must have a state Registered Respiratory Therapist certification and an Associate Degree.
  • You must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 months of employment start date, Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, and Neonate Resuscitate within 30 days.
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and education assistance.
