Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Research/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled nurses and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement research protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and a Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Five years of experience as a registered nurse in a related clinical area of practice.
  • Two years of recent formal or informal management/leadership experience.
  • BLS for healthcare provider.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing leadership.
  • Recent formal management experience in patient-oriented clinical research, epilepsy monitoring, and/or adult acute care.
