Job Summary

We are seeking an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

">

The Audiologist will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal, and review medical records uploaded into the system. The position requires working with patients, reviewing medical history, and making informed decisions based on assessment results.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Audiologist must have:

  • A Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an ASHA Accredited school">
  • A current license as an Audiologist">
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA">

About the Role

">

This is an in-person position requiring 3-6 patient assessments per day, Monday through Thursday. The schedule includes three days per week, with varying start times between 8 am and 10 am. This role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
