Position Overview
This role is situated within the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation division of the Defense Logistics Agency.
Purpose
The primary function of this position is to deliver analytical insights regarding operational and management initiatives for the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Management Analyst, providing strategic recommendations on various operational projects and programs.
- Support management personnel within the FMWR framework by conducting studies and generating reports aimed at identifying and addressing management challenges.
- Serve as the Records Coordinator, responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the office's filing system.
- Investigate directives, regulations, and policies relevant to Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation programs, along with the Records Management Program.
- Plan and execute a range of tasks, including:
1. Drafting and reviewing correspondence.
2. Preparing presentations and visual aids.
3. Compiling reports and summaries.
4. Developing straightforward policies and procedures.
5. Monitoring deadlines and tracking action items.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess one year of specialized experience that is directly related to the responsibilities outlined above. This includes familiarity with financial and accounting principles, the ability to interpret financial and business reports, and the capacity to devise solutions to complex managerial issues through analytical reasoning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for creating intricate data reports, such as pivot tables and databases, is essential.
Education and Experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered to demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role.

- This position does not require evening, weekend, or holiday work.
