Job Overview

Seabreeze Management Company is a leading provider of property management services, with a diverse portfolio of over 90,000 residential and commercial properties. As a HOA General Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our homeowner associations, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities

As a HOA General Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing office staff, vendors, and suppliers to achieve association goals
  • Drafting correspondence in response to Board of Directors policies and other correspondence
  • Directing and organizing all office operations
  • Directing the work efforts and schedules for all office staff
  • Ensuring that insurance coverage for the association is adequate and reviewing insurance coverage as necessary
  • Establishing relationships and maintaining contact with the association's general counsel, under the direction and guidelines established by the Board of Directors
  • Reviewing and approving employee timesheets at the end of each pay period and ensuring personnel files are maintained for all employees
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of community association and/or property management experience
  • 5 years of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of motivating and building strong teams
  • Effective coordination of multiple projects, with strong time management and independent judgment skills
  • Intermediate mathematics and written and oral communication skills
  • Strong internal and external customer relation skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of management, employees, homeowners, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information, using diplomacy and discretion in communicating such information
  • Effective follow-up skills and a professional image or business image, per policy
  • Organizational, planning, project management, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently handle priorities and deadlines
  • Meet scheduling and attendance requirements, per policy
