Sign-on Bonus: $4,000
Department: Mammography
Work Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week, with a rotational schedule including 8-hour shifts from Monday to Wednesday and every other Saturday. Operating hours range from 6 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mammography imaging services.
- Operate imaging equipment and conduct various mammography-related procedures.
- Prepare and position patients while accurately selecting anatomical and technical parameters.
- Educate patients on the importance of regular mammography for preventive breast health.
- Develop and assess film quality for technical aspects such as density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS, maintaining correct lead markers and patient data/history.
- Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.

Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to hire or job transfer. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card is acceptable upon hire but must be renewed as a BLS Provider card from AHA.
- One or more of the following is required:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) to be obtained within 12 months of hire or job transfer.
- Medical Sonographer credential from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) to be obtained within 12 months of hire or job transfer.

Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR an Associate's/Technical degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Additional Preferences
- ARRT registry in Mammography or board eligibility with certification to be obtained within one year of hire. Experience in mammography is preferred due to the high volume of breast imaging. Familiarity with screening and diagnostic studies, as well as breast procedures, is advantageous but training is available.
