Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and positioning patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Position patients and equipment, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
Requirements
  • Emergency room and operating room experience required
  • Radiologic Technologist, ARRT (R) certification required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
