We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a PRN Inpatient/Outpatient Adult/Peds provider. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in our Acute setting.
Responsibilities- Provide rehabilitation services to patients in the Acute setting, working to create and customize the best course of treatment for conditions that limit a patient's ability to move, be active, communicate, swallow, and complete daily tasks and activities.
- Collaborate with our skilled team to maximize physical performance, while addressing cognitive and psychosocial components of care to achieve the best functional outcomes.
- Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in a variety of service areas, including Cardiac, Vascular surgery, Thoracic surgery, Heart and Lung Transplant, Neurosurgery, and Neurology.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Bachelors or higher as designated by professional license.
- New graduates welcome.
- Experience or fieldwork in the acute setting preferred.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others and work as a team.
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Florida.
