Job Description:

i4 Search Group Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Champaign, IL. As a Hospice RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to terminally ill patients and their families.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assess patients' medical conditions, monitor vital signs, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Administer pain management medications and perform prescribed treatments.
  • Provide education and support to loved ones and primary caregivers on end-of-life care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and notify attending physicians and family members of patients' deaths.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Accredited certification in hospice and palliative care required.
  • Two years of experience as a hospice nurse preferred.
