Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Whitefoord Health Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance claims
  • Conduct vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and assist with laboratory procedures
  • Provide patient education and support, including explaining treatment options and promoting healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (e.g., RMA, CMA, CCMA)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
