Job Title: Associate Director of Formulations

The Associate Director of Formulations will play a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing formulation development projects, primarily in the pharmaceutical sector, and serving as a key point of contact for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading customer formulation development projects (primarily pharmaceutical) and interfacing with clients as a key point of contact
  • Providing technical and business feasibility assessments for proposed technologies
  • Leading the development of new technologies using both internal and external resources
  • Managing a group of scientists and engineers, including experimental oversight and career development
  • Recommending new capabilities and instrumentation
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or aligned industry of at least 8 years
  • Evidence of leading formulation projects to completion
  • Experience assessing and developing new technologies in the pharmaceutical field
  • Supervisory experience leading a group of scientists/engineers
  • Evidence of excellent scientific writing and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to interface successfully across the organization and with external partners
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis for any employer without the need for sponsorship
