Arts Conservatory Voice Instructor

Job Title: Voice Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Voice Instructor to join our Conservatory team at the International School of San Francisco. As a Voice Instructor, you will provide one-on-one lessons to students in grades 1-12, teaching them the fundamentals of music and helping them develop their vocal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging and challenging one-on-one lessons that cater to the learning styles of each student
  • Take attendance and submit hours worked
  • Follow up with the Director of Extended Care in case of student or teacher absence
  • Collaborate with the Head of Creative and Performing Arts to address any musical needs
  • Prepare students to perform at least once a year in one of our scheduled conservatory concerts
  • Attend conservatory concerts to support students and liaise with parents

Requirements:

  • Strong vocal teaching skills and experience working with students of various ages and skill levels
  • Ability to create engaging and challenging lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
