About the Role

As a Medication Care Specialist at Sunrise Senior Living, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. We are committed to providing high-quality care and services that promote the well-being and dignity of all seniors.

In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plans.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner
  • Work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that residents receive the best possible care
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; prior experience working with seniors preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification required; other certifications may be required based on location and position
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
