About the Job

The South Shore Conservatory is seeking a qualified Music Therapist to join their team. As a Music Therapist at SSC, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with diverse abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement music therapy programs for individuals and groups, tailored to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide music therapy sessions in a variety of settings, including individual and group sessions, workshops, and classes.
  • Collaborate with the CAT team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of music therapy services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress, including session plans, observations, and progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy; Master's preferred.
  • Board Certification in Music Therapy (CBMT certification).
  • Strong background in music education and performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience.

This job operates in professional environments and requires frequent travel to clients throughout the South Shore area. The ideal candidate should be self-directed, passionate about providing quality music therapy services, and possess an open mind and collaborative spirit.
