Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Greenlife Healthcare Staffing.
Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues
- Preparing patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and applying gel or other necessary materials
- Maintaining accurate records of patient exams, including image analysis and diagnostic results
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Staying up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- 2 years of experience in a medical imaging setting
- A valid license or certification in the state of practice, if applicable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and accuracy during stressful situations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Background and drug screen results
- Additional requirements and certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
