The Role

As a vital member of the food service team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of meals while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and serving of meals in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Learn and adhere to food safety standards and procedures.
  • Assist in measuring and serving food portions accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organize work and storage areas to enhance efficiency.
  • Recognize and accommodate individual dietary needs.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
There are no formal education or experience prerequisites for this position.

General Requirements
Background checks will be conducted on candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment.

Possession of a valid California Driver License may be necessary for some roles.

Some positions may require obtaining a ServSafe California Food Handler Card within a specified timeframe.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull carts requiring significant force.
Working Environment
  • Work may occur in areas without climate control.
  • Interaction with individuals in various settings may be required.

Probationary Period
The probationary period for this classification is six (6) months.
