Pharmacist

Job Description:

As a Pharmacist in our Long Term Care (LTC) Specialty Pharmacy, you will oversee the dispensing of prescription medications and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and quality of pharmaceutical products dispensed during your shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Final verification of non-sterile and sterile prescriptions, including proper packaging, assignment of beyond-use dates, and final inspection of finished products.
  • Training, coaching, and counseling of technicians performing non-sterile compounding.
  • Participation in the shipping and handling of prescription orders as needed.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of Pharmacist experience, preferably from a retail or hospital setting.
  • PharmD degree.
  • Ability to train, coach, and counsel technicians.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
