Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a skilled Master Plumber to join our team. As a key member of our fire protection team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our customers and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our testing teams to identify and repair backflow issues, pumps, and sprinkler lines in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of state and federal plumbing regulations.
  • Review blueprints and work sites to ensure compliance with backflow requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers to set expectations, resolve complaints, and identify customer requests.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Journeyman or Master plumbing license.
  • ASSE Certification.
  • Previous experience in fire protection or commercial plumbing.
  • Ability to read blueprints and site schematics.
  • Willingness to travel for work as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk and maneuver around construction sites, climb ladders occasionally.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy pipes daily.
  • Bending and squatting frequently for long periods.
  • Reaching and performing work above shoulder level frequently.
  • Ability to withstand occasional exposure to hot, cold, and inclement weather.
