This position is responsible for partnering with our testing teams to repair backflows, pumps, and sprinkler lines in commercial or industrial settings. The Master Plumber will be the subject matter expert in backflow repair. They will respond to customer questions and explain the process appropriately while setting clear expectations to the customer.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Work directly with our service team to identify deficiencies and create a plan for system repairs.
- Maintain a clear understanding of State and Federal plumbing regulations.
- Review blueprints and work sites to understand backflow requirements.
- Maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders and customers to set expectations, resolve complaints and identify customer requests.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Maintain a valid Journeyman or Master plumbing license.
- Must be ASSE Certified.
- Previous experience in fire protection or commercial plumbing.
- Ability to read blueprints and site schematics.
- Available to travel for work as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to walk and maneuver self around construction job sites and climb ladders occasionally.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy pipe daily (10-40 lbs frequently and 50-75 lbs occasionally).
- Bending and squatting frequently and for long periods of time.
- Reaching and performing work above shoulder level frequently and for long periods of time.
- Ability to withstand occasional exposure to hot, cold, and/or inclement weather on job sites.
- Ability to wear PPE such as steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glass, safety harnesses, and hard hats occasionally on job sites.
