Infant Education Assistant

As an Infant Education Assistant, you are essential in nurturing the foundational experiences of our youngest students. Your key responsibilities encompass:

  • Collaborating with the lead educator to deliver secure and enriching activities for infants
  • Monitoring infants during class sessions, diaper changes, and outdoor activities
  • Establishing a safe, affectionate, and stimulating atmosphere for infants to explore and learn
  • Encouraging social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in infants
  • Engaging with children both physically and verbally throughout the day
  • Supporting personal hygiene, meal times, and communication with parents and staff
  • Participating in training sessions and ensuring adherence to state licensing standards

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in childcare or educational settings
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children
  • A positive and patient attitude
  • Strong communication abilities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid certification along with a background check
  • Physically capable of engaging with active infants
