Job Title: Lead Infant Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Kids R Kids Learning Academy of Lawler Farm. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early experiences of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth in infants.
  • Implement safety protocols and maintain hygiene practices to ensure a healthy and clean environment.
  • Manage and care for a class of infants, providing individualized attention and support.
  • Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through engaging activities and experiences.
  • Provide love, care, and quality attention to meet the emotional and physical needs of the children.
  • Plan and execute indoor and outdoor experiences tailored to the developmental levels of the children.
  • Interact with children physically and verbally throughout the day, promoting language and social skills.
  • Assist children with personal hygiene, change diapers, and support potty training as needed.
  • Serve and eat meals with the children, promoting socialization and mealtime routines.
  • Meet with parents, staff, and administration to ensure open communication and collaboration.
  • Attend in-service and staff development training programs to enhance professional growth and knowledge.
  • Familiarity with state licensing requirements and policies to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields.
  • Passion for working with children and building strong relationships.
  • Ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Positive and patient demeanor, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hire).
  • Background Check and Fingerprints (can be obtained upon hire).
  • Physical ability to keep up with active infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
  • Ability to lift, run, and sit on the floor comfortably.
