About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Salem Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners and ensuring the safe and accurate imaging of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or an accredited MRI Certificate Program
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and MRI Certification within 15 months of hire
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of electronic communication systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Radiologic Technology Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
  • Experience in an MRI setting
