MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team at Sigma Healthcare in Salem, MA.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI scans to physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain the MRI procedure to patients and ensure they comply with all safety standards.
- Position and possibly sedate patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.
- Remove and replace IVs and catheters for the MRI process.
- Maneuver the MRI equipment and position it to capture the correct images.
- Monitor patients during scanning and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor MRI equipment functions and ensure clear images for physicians to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Recognize abnormalities and irregularities in images.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician.
- Siemens Scanner experience.
- Phlebotomy, Outlook, and strong interpersonal skills.
- EMR (Charting System): Epic.
- ARRT and CPR certifications.
