Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to become a vital member of our esteemed Sleep Disorders team. Our accredited facility features a 16-bed lab, providing care for a diverse patient population.

This role is eligible for night shift differentials.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instruction and mentorship to fellow technologists within the Neurodiagnostic and/or Sleep Disorders Lab.
  • Conduct diagnostic patient assessments including electroencephalograms (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction velocities (NCV), sensory evoked potentials (EP), and polysomnographic testing, with potential oxygen therapy and continuous positive airway pressure treatments (CPAP).
  • Set up and calibrate equipment in various settings, including hospital rooms and clinics.
  • Interpret and score neurodiagnostic and/or polysomnographic tests.
  • Gather patient histories and educate patients and families on test preparation, pre-test interviews, and follow-up procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:
Graduation from an accredited Neurophysiology program is required.

Licensure/Certification:
Must be registered in one of the following specialty areas:

  • EEG (Electroencephalogram - R. EEG T., CLTM)
  • EP (Evoked Potentials - R. EP T.)
  • Intra-Operative Monitoring (CNIM)
  • Nerve Conduction Velocity studies (NCV)
  • Polysomnography (RPSGT)
  • Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)

Experience:
No prior experience is required if graduated from an accredited Neurophysiology program. A high school diploma is necessary if not graduated from an accredited program, along with two years of experience in Sleep or Neurodiagnostic procedures.


Skills and Abilities:

We seek candidates with a strong foundation in neurodiagnostic practices and a commitment to patient care excellence.
