Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Glacier National Park. As a Baker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pastries, pies, and desserts for our guests. If you have a passion for baking and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake and create a variety of sweet treats for our dining room, employee dining room, and coffee shop.
  • Help create pastry and dessert specials for sale in our dining room and bar.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our baking and prep areas and equipment.
  • Keep records of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate them to your supervisor.
  • Assist with setup for special events, meetings, conferences, and banquets.
  • Offer assistance to guests and teammates as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of baking and pastry production experience required.
  • Patisserie or culinary degree or training preferred.
  • Ability to accurately plan, cost, and manage food costs and controls.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the team and guest.
  • Ability to work solo or as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety first and highest quality of cleaning and sanitizing standards.
  • Organized with a great eye for detail.
  • Kind to others and always bring your best.
  • Good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions.
  • Helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile.
  • Relaxed, flexible, and able to handle a few curveballs.
  • Ready to have fun.
