Electronics Repair Specialist

The Electronics Repair Specialist will apply advanced knowledge of electronics, measurement science, and physics to perform calibration and repair of test measurement and diagnostic equipment.
Salary and BenefitsEstimated annual salary: $85,000 - $110,000
Full-time position with excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) with company matching, employee funded pre-tax health and tuition reimbursement, vacation, sick and paid holidays.
ResponsibilitiesBullet points:
- Evaluate, test, troubleshoot, and repair systems to the component level of test measurement and diagnostic equipment.
- Enter repair and calibration data into SIMCO Main Computer System (SMCS) database.
- Prepare repair quotations and calibration reports and certificates related to assignments in a timely manner.
- Perform calibrations and repairs in multiple skill areas, including bio-med instrumentation, electronic standards, fiber optics, and more.
- Receive and complete training on repair and calibration procedures, documentation, and SMCS.
- Assist in the training of other technicians on specialized skills.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum AA degree in Electrical Technologies or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuit theory and advanced soldering skills.
- Four years of experience in electronic repair and calibration, preferably with a focus on laboratory workstations.
- Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
