Job Summary:

As a Loss Prevention Supervisor at Uniqlo Co., Ltd., you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe shopping environment for all customers and employees. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee inventory management and shortage reduction efforts, ensuring that our stores operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train store team members on loss prevention and safety policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance from all store teams and notifying store management/Loss Prevention Manager of any violations.
• Ensure LP team can successfully identify, apprehend, and detain shoplifters by following company guidelines.
• Build productive relationships with store leadership teams and associates, leading associate awareness efforts and generating leads pertaining to internal investigations.
• Focus on the importance of proper inventory management, investigating issues and educating teams on proper procedures.
• Ensure compliance and understanding of shortage reduction strategies, working with Leadership to strengthen LP culture and partnering with LP Manager to ensure compliance of company policy and procedure.
• Inspect compliance to company safety policy and procedures through store visits, providing direction and training to ensure opportunities are identified and corrected.
• Identify safety or loss risks, immediately notifying store and loss prevention management to prevent accidents.
• Support loss prevention management with audits and inventory counts, ensuring full confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of computer applications, including Security Software, CCTV equipment, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local law.
• Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations.
• Ability to travel to stores within assigned areas.
• Must be able to work for extended periods of standing or walking the sales floor as required.
