Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Trade Support professional to join our team at Mizuho Bank Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of trades and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm and monitor all trades to ensure accurate entry into our front office systems.
  • Coordinate repo trade activity for numerous clients, obtaining bids and offers from traders and tracking repo lines of credit.
  • Book and settle trades, ensuring timely resolution of any trade-related issues.
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and distribute pricing evaluations for all customers of Mizuho, obtaining requests from clients and receiving pricing from traders.
  • Assist in the opening of new accounts, obtaining required documents and coordinating with credit, Compliance, and sales management to ensure account compliance with Mizuho AML standards.
  • Review and correct sales commission-related inquiries for sales personnel.
  • Coordinate and distribute trader inventory for customers of Mizuho, downloading reports from various internal sources.
  • Act as liaison to set up customers to trade on our electronic platforms, such as Market Axess, Tradeweb, and Bloomberg.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income products and trade operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.

Mizuho Bank Ltd offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base salary range of $60,000 - $110,000, discretionary bonus, and generous employee benefits package.
