Senior Trust Operations Associate

The Senior Trust Operations Associate acts as a vital liaison for our client-facing teams that cater to Trust, Agency, and Institutional clientele. Key responsibilities encompass the processing of federal and state tax payments, probate court accountings, client onboarding, account management, account closures, reconciliations, and comprehensive reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment alongside account administrators and various operational support teams to provide a seamless client experience. A strong commitment to client service is essential, along with excellent communication and relationship management skills to ensure a high level of client satisfaction. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines are crucial. Responsibilities include completing assigned duties within set timelines and adhering to established policies and procedures. The position requires on-site presence at the company's office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing federal and state estimated and balance due tax payments
  • Preparing and submitting probate accountings for relevant courts
  • Calculating and executing Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds (UPMIFA) payments
  • Reviewing necessary investment account opening documentation for accuracy and completeness, and setting up accounts in the internal accounting system
  • Managing the closure of investment accounts, ensuring all internal teams fulfill their responsibilities during the closing process
  • Conducting daily and monthly cash reconciliations, identifying exceptions for further investigation and resolution
  • Handling incoming mail, including logging and posting checks as well as managing returned mail
  • Independently addressing complex internal and external inquiries
  • Ensuring that the unit's documented procedures are current and accurate
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Over 2 years of experience in Financial Services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong focus on detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent research and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in providing operational support for trust/investment accounts for high-net-worth clients
  • Familiarity with the InnoTrust accounting platform
Work Schedule:
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
