Job Summary

Cox Medical Center South is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for performing radiology/interventional radiology procedures in accordance with established medical standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology/interventional radiology procedures independently or under the direct supervision of a physician, adhering to established standards of medical care.
  • Follow policies and protocols to produce optimum images, prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort.
  • Ensure compliance with established anatomical positioning and physiology to achieve high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize radiology services.
Requirements
  • ARRT(R) + (CI) or (CV) or (VI) certification
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Ability to work 4/10's schedule with rotational on-call needs, weekends, and holidays as required
Additional Details
  • Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility to which they are applying
  • Previous employment with CoxHealth requires a minimum of 2 years separation
