Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the tax compliance processes for real estate partnerships, ensuring the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns, estimates, and extensions.
  • Guarantee the accurate and timely submission of all tax returns and associated forms, including form 1065 and K-1s.
  • Analyze and interpret tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax liabilities.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, offering guidance and insights on tax-related issues.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and provide strategic recommendations for tax planning.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of tax policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and provide support to junior team members.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax management, particularly in real estate and partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software applications.
