Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescription medications and provide accurate medication counseling to patients.
  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure the safe and appropriate use of medications.
  • Monitor and manage medication inventories, including ordering, restocking, and maintaining proper storage conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the best possible patient care and outcomes.
  • Verify the accuracy of prescription medications and provide counsel on proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Offer immunization services and administer vaccines where applicable.
  • Oversee the compounding and preparation of specialized medications as needed.
Requirements
  • 36 months of Pharmacist experience.
  • 12 months of experience in the required specialty.
  • Board certification and valid, unrestricted state license.
  • Preferred: Immunization Certificate endorsed by APhA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacist (Required), BLS.
