We are looking for a highly qualified and passionate Gifted Education Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced curriculum, enrichment units, and process skills instruction for gifted and talented students. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced curriculum and enrichment units for gifted and talented students.
  • Provide process skills instruction and support to students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, keeping accurate records and preparing regular reports.
  • Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to discuss student progress and interpret the gifted program.
  • Identify student needs and work with other staff members to assess and help students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
  • Maintain professional competence through professional development activities.
  • Employ a variety of instructional techniques, strategies, and media to meet the needs of students.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Valid New Mexico teaching license with gifted endorsement.
  • Meet highly qualified requirements for teaching assignment.
