Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the appropriate technical factors for each study, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of diagnostic CT examinations.
  • Operate and maintain the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring modesty and safety, and utilizing auxiliary equipment and devices as needed.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to the exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
  • Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues, including the radiologist.
  • Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of the table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases, and keep the room stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
  • Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist certification.
