Customer Service Representative Opportunity

Are you a people person with a passion for helping others? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? U-Haul is seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of U-Haul's exceptional service, ensuring that customers receive the help they need on their journeys. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and maintaining equipment, assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, and using smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting customers with U-Haul products and services
  • Using smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
  • Inspecting and maintaining equipment
  • Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental
  • Installing hitches and trailer wiring
  • Filling propane and driving a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul)
  • Participating in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
