Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures.
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
- Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate and communicate with pet owners about care and treatments.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
- Provide general support and assistance as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
