Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Cashier/Attend to join our team at Salem Hospital. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock for peak periods.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, serving, and cleaning up after meals.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Basic communication skills to understand and speak for safe, efficient performance of job responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills, which may be obtained through on-the-job training.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate routine information.
  • Ability to work from oral and written instruction.
  • Basic math skills (count and compute).
