About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescription requests and build trusted relationships with customers, demonstrating patience, empathy, and care.
  • Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and address issues to achieve the best outcome for customers.
  • Follow department processes and procedures to input information, dispense medication, and verify information.
  • Ensure the department is running smoothly by assisting with tasks, maintaining inventory levels, and rotating and stocking drugs and other supplies.
  • Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices.
Requirements
  • Computer skills and ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • State-specific certification or registration may be required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required for New Jersey applicants.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience ordering products and controlling inventory.
  • Pharmacy Technician experience and certification.
