Job Overview

Position: Equipment/Machine Operator I

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Position Summary:

  • Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of basic automated assembly machinery.
  • Maintain uninterrupted machine functionality by addressing issues and adjusting stations as necessary.
  • Execute repetitive tasks related to machine operation while upholding quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleanliness of the workspace and machinery.
  • Accurately interpret and adhere to operational procedures.
  • Safely operate machinery in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Initiate machinery from a powered-off condition.
  • Conduct work order setups and manage machines to yield high-quality products.
  • Monitor gauges and indicators on machinery.
  • Diagnose machine issues and reactivate machines as needed.
  • Complete necessary production documentation and records.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality.
  • Package and label end products appropriately.
  • Acquire skills to operate various machines and demonstrate adaptability in their application.
